Watering during Installation: Lightly sprinkle water on the bare soil as you install your new sod. This will cool the soil providing a better environment for new, tender roots of the sod. Water each piece of sod within 15 minutes of being laid on the soil.
Watering After Installation: Give your new sod one inch of water within 1/2 hour of completed installations. Water your new sod 2-3 times during the hottest part of the day for the first two weeks. Short, frequent waterings are best, 5-20 minutes on each cycle Keep your new sod moist but do not soak. Change your sprinkler timer according to the demands of your lawn, and the environment.

Great customer service and quick installation! I needed to adjust the order a day before the delivery due to a change in the landscape plan. Sod King was so accommodating and helped me collect more sod from other sources. The installation by Dillon and his friend was also quick and efficient.

Tim and Joe are awesome to work with. The quality of the sod they delivered is outstanding. I live 2 blocks away from a competitor of theirs and chose Sod King based on friend recommendations. I have had my sod for a week and it is awesome and weed free. I have recommended them to three others.

Awesome experience. They delivered the sod and it’s was green, lush and perfectly cut. Made super easy for laying. We were a little delayed on sod but what now a days isn’t on back ordered. But the day they said they could get us sod we got it. Thanks sod king!

They were so easy to communicate with via text and responded in a timely manner. The sod arrived early on delivery day and the driver went above and beyond to make sure the sod was easily accessible for us. We ordered 18 pallets and there were very few rolls that were cut thin and nearly all of it was useable. It arrived in great condition. I called a few different places and Sod King was priced lower than most but slightly higher than bulldog. The reviews for bulldog weren't nearly as good as sod king and after using sod king, I'd say the slight increase in price was worth the peace of mind that you are getting quality sod and professional people to work with. I needed to get some additional sod after my delivery and wanted to pick it up. Their pickup wasn't available yet but they referred me somewhere that had the same grass so that it would match. I feel like it's pretty big of a company to refer you somewhere else to get what you need vs making the customer wait just so that they will do business with you. I'd highly recommend them!
