SOIL PREP: Soil prep is very important in the success of the sod and establishing a lawn. Soil preparation can only be done once before laying your sod. Clear all weeds and debris from area. We recommend a minimum depth of quality top soil to be 2-4 inches prior to installation of sod. Level and grade entire sod area. Soil should be graded to about one inch below concrete. Water soil to allow proper settling of ground and any trenches made prior to sod installation. Lightly rake soil before installation to allow proper contact between sod and soil. Great customer service and quick installation! I needed to adjust the order a day before the delivery due to a change in the landscape plan. Sod King was so accommodating and helped me collect more sod from other sources. The installation by Dillon and his friend was also quick and efficient.

So, so, so easy. I did a quote online and got it in my email within 10 minutes and was able to accept it, or call if I had questions. I also loved that I got a call, making sure my delivery day would work and was offered services from their partners if I needed sprinkling systems, ground leveling, etc.... Delivery was a breeze!! It was dropped off in the morning and I didn’t even have to sign anything or talk to anyone. I got an email to pay the invoice and that was it! They even came to pick up the pallets after we were finished!! 10/10 recommend using Sod King.

When I bought the sod it wasn't green but it is really early in the season. I had them install the sod and afterwords it looked great. They were really fast. 2 hours for 2100 sqft. The info about the watering and stuff was very helpful. I will buy from them again.
